BHIMANAKATTE MATHA
Not much is known of this lineage (parampara) after Sathya Teertharu. There are no definite information available relating to this. This is due to loss of documents during the floods in the old matha premises. It is with regret Sri Raghmanya Teertharu said that he was unable to retrieve information from these damaged documents and hence he had to throw them in the river.

Sathya Teertharu
Sathya Teertharu was Achyuta Preksharu's very dear disciple. Achyuta Preksharu was doubly fortunate. He was the direct guru for Acharya Madhwaru, an avatara of Sameera or Vayu Deva. Achyuta Preksharu was eager to take forward the lineage which originated from sages with Sanaka (sanakadi rishis) in the right direction. Madhwacharya understood his Guru's wishes. He therefore gave his clear disciple Sathya Teertharu along with idols of Sri Rama, Seeta, Lakshmana and Damodara Saligrama as Kaanike to him. Because of this, this lineage grew and came to be known as Srimadachyuta Preksha Teertharu Samsthana. So, Sathya teertharu is said to have two Gurus. Later this Matha branched off into two Mathas known as Shri Bheema Sethu Muni Vrunda Matha and Sri Bhandarikeri Matha.
Sri Sathya Teertharu was very dear to Acharya Madhwaru. He enjoyed affectionof his master. (guruvatsalya) He continuously sought lessons from his guru. (guruupadesha) He studied 'Aitareya Shaaka' which was very dear to him, three times from the guru.
The bond between him and Acharya Madhwaru was unparalleled. Once when Acharya Madhwaru went from Badari to Oordhva Badari, he left the disciples behind at Badari. However, Sathya Teertharu did not want to be separated from Acharya. So he tried to follow him. But when Acharya jumped from one peak to another, it became impossible for Sathya Teertharu to follow. Acharya could sense this and turned around and waved his hand. Instantaneously, Sri Sathya Teertharu was transported back to Badari amidst the other disciples. Sathya Teertharu is also a witness to sevaral Acharya's supernaturala miracles. During another occasion Acharya Madhwaru was travelling inside a deep forest along with his disciples. A demon under the guise of a tiger caught Sathya Teertharu. Acharya Madhwaru hit the demon with his fist and made him run for his life. Thus they were mutually bound by devotion to master (gurubhakti) and master's affection for disciple (guru vatsalya). Sri Sathya Teertharu has played an important role in making Acharya's 'Brahma sutra Bashya' available to the world. He is said to be the first to have put 'Sutra Bhashya' in writing. Writing even one letter of the 'Sutra Bhashya' is supposed to fetch great spiritual benefits equivalent to those of building a temple on the banks of river Ganga.
The lineage of Sathya Teertharu became popular as Bheema Sethu Muni Vrunda Matha. Idols obtained from Sanakadi Rishis is offered grand worship in this Matha.
