'Shri Raghupriya Teertha kara kamala sanjatha Shri Raghunatha Teertha'
Shri Raghunatha Teertharu was a great scholar and a great 'tapasvi'. He was constantly engaged in penance and meditation. He chanted Lord's name all the time. He had carried out pilgrimage to several holy places. Scholars accompanied him all the time. He was always engaged in discussion about shastras and tatva vichara. It is said that he would visit the houses in the agrahara and discussed tatva vichara. A boy who was said to be dumb for over seventeen years came seeking the blessings of Swamiji. Swamiji with all compassion gave him sanctified water to drink. Within a week the boy began to regain his speech. Also it is said that a minister from Sangli approached the pontiff seeking solution for his wife's incurable disease. He was given sandal paste offred to God and insructed that she should mix it with water and consume for 48 days. This transformed as medicine and cured her completely. In another incident a farmer's bullock which had eaten some poisonus leaves was at the verge of death. The farmer having of Swamiji's greatness came running for succour. Swamiji gave him sanctified water to be sprinkled on the bullock. The bullock was saved. Once during his travels (sanchara) the pontiff came to a Shiva temple. However, the temple doors were shut for the reason taht he was a devotee of Vishnu (vaishnava). Swamiji stood before the temple doors and prayed and to everyone's surprise the temple doors opened automatically. He had good darshan with his worship of Lord Narayana dwelling inside Shiva (anusandhana of Rudra Antaryami) and felt blessed. Later everyone fell at his feet seeking his pardon. He made them all understand that Rudra is a 'Parama Vaishnava' and left the place.
Once Swamiji visited a village by name Pasanagrama in Halasigi in Khanapura taluk in Belagavi District. There is an ancient Narasimha Temple. It was built during the period of Kadamba. There were idols of Lakshmi Narasimha and Bhu Varaha. There was a 'Nrasimha Saligrama' with ferociious attributes. Everyday before the temple priest (archaka) entered the temple premises, he had to keep a bunch of grass on the threshold and pray. It it caught fire then entry was denied. Otherwise he could enter and do the pooja. It posed a problem to everyone. Whey they told Swamiji about this, Swamiji prayed to Narasimha and was directed to bury the Salagrama in a corner on the outer premises of the temple. Everyone was relieved. This village had an 'Agrahara'. There were many scholors. Thus, Swamiji stayed there for a while and later due to ill health, could not travel further. Finally, as per God's will he attained Haripada there. His brundavana was installed there itself. It is believed that chanting 'Om Shri Raghunatha Teertha Namaha' with devotion conferred blessings on the devotees. This enhanced his greatness further. He had specially worshipped 'Durvasa karachita Narasimha' and gained 'siddhi'. Devotees experience positive and divine vibrations when they visit his brundavana.
