The Mysore Royalty had "apUrva gowrava" for the swamiji and samsthAna. This is evident from the inaugural invitation for the wedding of Maharaja, shri Krishnaraja woDeyaru IV, being sent to shri swamiji.
Poorvashrama Name – Rangaswamy Acharya
Sri Vidya Samudra Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vidya Srinivasa Theertha and is Thirty Fourth saint from Madhwacharya. Below is his brief introduction.
He ruled the Peeta for only 3 years like his guru and parama guru. He was Poorvashrama grandson of Sri Vidyapoorna Theertha. He was great tapasvi and during his short tenure, he propagated dwaitha philosophy in many places.
After handing over mahasamsthana to Sri Vidya Rathnakara Theertha, he entered Vrundavana at Sosale.

The Mysore Royalty had "apUrva gowrava" for the swamiji and samsthAna. This is evident from the inaugural invitation for the wedding of Maharaja, shri Krishnaraja woDeyaru IV, being sent to shri swamiji.
shri swamiji insisted on shri ahObalAchArya to accept sanyasa and pITAdhipathya. Shri ahObalAchArya refused a few times but swamiji said he would wait for him. Finally swamiji prevailed over shri ahObalAchArya and he accepted sanyasa and was named shri vidyAratnAkara tIrtharu, who was a great scholar and aparOxsha gnAni. This showed that shri vidyAsamudra tIrtharu had recognised the intrinsic qualities of shri ahObalAchArya and decided to wait for him to accept sanyasa.
