Sri Visweshwara Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vijaya Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 10 years. He was great scholar and undertook pilgrimage tour many times. He wrote commentary on Sri Madhwacharya’s ‘Aitareya Bhashya’. Later commentators had mentioned his work while writing the commentaries which shows his greatness. He also wrote Khandartha to Upanishads, Bhagavadgeetha Vivarana and Nyayasudha sangraha. Mankali Dharmacharya and Bhagavantaraya wrote Tippani to his Aitareya Teeka. He appointed Sri Viswabhushana Theertha as his successor and left his mortal body on the 9th day of Jeshta Bahula, it is said that he left his mortal at Proshti, but it needs to be confirmed after thorough research.

He had studied under bhAvi samIra shri vAdirAja tIrtharu. He had done several tIrtha yAtrAs.
He was an erudite scholar and has written the following works.
1. Commentary on shrimadAchAryA's aitrEya bhAshya: This has been referenced by several others who have written commentary on aitrEya bhAshya. One example is Shri tAmraparNi srInivAsAchAr ya.
2. Commentaries on every one of the upanishad khanDArthAs.
3. bhagavadgIta vivaraNa
4. nyAyasudha sangraha
