AshvIja shuddha dashami is the ArAdhane of shri sAtvIka gururAjAchAryaru.

Birth: 1880 at bijApura

shri gururAjAchAryaru was an ardent devotee of rAyaru. 

The pITAdhipathi of rAyara maTa at his time was shri shushIlEndra tIrtharu. shrI sushIlEndra tIrtharu's mother had made a sankalpa that she would do Anna santarpaNe to one lakh Brahmanas together.

swAmIji was keen to fulfill this but was wondering how. He prayed to rAyaru. rAyaru appeared in his dream and said that the next day a brAhmaNa would come to the maTa and ring the bell in front of prANa dEvaru and offering bhOjana to him would be equivalent to one lakh Brahmanas. 

SwAmIji was eagerly waiting for this event. One brAhmaNa came and rang the bell in front of prANa dEvaru. He was none other than sAtvIka gururAjAchAryaru. SwAmIji offered bhOjana to him and fulfilled his mother's sankalpa. Such was the greatness of shri gururAjAchAryaru.

In his old age gururAjAchAryaru could not visit manthrAlaya frequently. He was feeling bad about it. rAyaru appeared in his dream and said that he is residing in shri gururAjAchAryaru himself and he need not worry about not being able to come to manthrAlaya. shri gururAjAchAryaru blessed many people with the anugraha of rAyaru.

Shri gururAjAchAryaru was also blessed by shri satyajnAna tIrtharu of uttarAdi maTa.
