Sri Raghumanya Theertha

Sri Raghumanya Theertha is the 28th saint after Sri Hrishikesha Theertha in the guru parampare of Palimar mutt.

Poorvashrama Name :

Ashrama Guru : Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha (admar mutt)

Ashrama Shishya : Sri Raghuvallabha Theertha

Aradhana : Margashira Shudha Padya

Vrundavana/place of demise : Madras Ghatikachala

Sri Raghumanya Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha of admar mutt and ruled Peeta for about 32 years. He studied all Shastras under Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha. He did his first paryaya in 19th year. He was architect of Palimar and renovated Krishna mutt during his paryaya.

Mysore kings, deewans visited Udupi during his second paryaya. He built building for Sanskrit patashala. He died in the year 1947 in madras.

After handing over Peeta to Sri Raghuvallabha Theertha he entered Vrundavana at Ghatikachala.

Sri Raghuvallabha Theertha after becoming head of mutt ruled the Peeta for about 22 years, but could not continue it. He relinquished the Peeta in 1969 and handed over the Peeta to Sri Vidyamanya Theertha.

 ರಘುಮಾನ್ಯಾನ್ ಸತಾಂ ಮಾನ್ಯಾನ್ ಮನ್ಯೇsಚಲಮುನೀನ್ ಪರಾನ್ ॥

ಪಲಿಮಾರು ಮಠದ ಪರಂಪರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಶ್ರೀಹೃಷೀಕೇಶತೀರ್ಥರ ನಂತರ 28ನೇ ಯತಿಗಳು ಶ್ರೀರಘುಮಾನ್ಯತೀರ್ಥರು.

ಅದಮಾರು ಮಠಾಧೀಶರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀವಿಭುದಪ್ರಿಯತೀರ್ಥರಿಂದ ಸನ್ಯಾಸ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರಮಾಡಿ 32ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಾಧ್ಯಯನವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀವಿಭುದಪ್ರಿಯತೀರ್ಥರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ 19ನೇ ವಯಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.ಅವರ ಪರ್ಯಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಲಿಮಾರು ಮೂಲ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ  ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರ ಎರಡನೇ ಪರ್ಯಾಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಅರಸರು ,ದೀವಾನರು ಅನೇಕ ಬಾರಿ ಉಡುಪಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರಂತೆ.

ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತ ಪಾಠಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾನುಭಾವರು.

ಮುಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀರಘುವಲ್ಲಭತೀರ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು 1947ರಲ್ಲಿ ವೃಂದಾವನಸ್ಥರಾದರು. ಇವರ ವೃಂದಾವನ ಘಟಿಕಾಚಲದಲ್ಲಿದೆ...
