shri Yoganarasimha swami of Ghatikachaka Kshetra had come in the dream of shri vibhudhapriya tIrtharu and directed the swamiji to offer a ratha to the temple. Swamiji started that work and offered a 32 ft tall ratham to the Lord. A few days after offering the ratha, he reached Lord's lotus feet. This was in 1929.
shri raghumAnya tIrtha swAmiji of palimAru math was initiated to sanyAsa by shri vibhudhapriya swAmiji. His brindAvana is also in shOlingar.
shri vidyAmAnya tIrtharu was initiated into sanyAsa also by shri vibhudhapriya tIrtharu at the tender age of 12, on the 5th of November, 1925 and was made the 32nd pontiff of shri bhanDArakEri maTa. shri vidyAmAnya tIrtharu had his education in sholingar till 1929 , until shri vibhudhapriya tIrtharu attained the Lotus feet of Lord krishNa.
In uDupi, an elephant surrendered to shri vibhudhapriya tIrtharu and laid down its life at his feet. A picture of the swamiji with the tusk of the elephant can be seen in the adamAru maTa at uDupi.
There is a marble vENugOpAla krishNa idol in the Sholingar maTa. This was gifted to shri vibhudhapriya tIrtharu by a devotee from north and the same was consecrated in 1953.

Sri Vibudhapriya Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vibudhadhiraja Theertha. He learnt Shastras from Sri Viswadheesha Theertha of Sode mutt. He was an incredible scholar and was also expert in pourohitya and Ayurveda. His sishyas include Viswamanya Theertha (Pejawar mutt), Raghumanya Theertha (Palimar mutt), Vidyasamudra Theertha (Kaniyoor mutt), and Sugnanendra Theertha (Puttige mutt) which shows his knowledge. He gave sanyasa Ashrama to Vidyamanya Theertha of Bhandarkere mutt who later became head of Palimar mutt also. He was instrumental in establishing Sanskrit college in Udupi. He developed the mutt to become financially strong. He submitted one chariot to lord Narasimha in Ghatikachala.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Vibudhamanya Theertha he entered Vrundavana at Ghatikachala.
