Sri Vidyendra Theertha
Sri Vidyendra Theertha is the 28th saint after Sri Janardhana Theertha in the guru parampare of Krishnapura mutt.
Poorvashrama Name :
Ashrama Guru : Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha
Ashrama Shishya : Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha
Aradhana : Bhadrapada Shudha Padya
Vrundavana : Ganga-Yamuna sangama
Sri Vidyendra Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 9 years. He was a great scholar and tapasvi. He defeated many opponents in Kashi and brought jayapatrikas. In the end he did Dana of everything and went to Ganga-Yamuna sangama and requested Ganga with true devotion to take him inside. Then Ganga swallowed him and glided away. He wrote Ganga Panchaka stuti.
He handed over Peeta to Sri Vidyanidhi Theertha. It is said that he entered Vrundavana at Ganga Yamuna sangama but it needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
