Sri Vadeendra Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Viswapati Theertha and ruled Peeta for 37 years. He stayed at Dharmapuri on the banks of river Godavari for long time. He taught all Shastras to his disciples for 18 times. He used to come to Udupi during paryaya only and for remaining time he stayed at Dharmapuri. During his end he came to Udupi and gave Ashrama to Vidyapati Theertha.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Vidyapati Theertha he entered Vrundavana at Pajaka.
