Sri Raghunandana Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Raghavendra Theertha and ruled Peeta for about 11 years. Like his guru he is also believed to be contemporary of Sri Vadiraja and Sri Vijayeendra Theertha. He was a great scholar and was well versed with 4 Shastras. He has done Sudha mangala 9 times. After handing over Peeta to Sri Vidyapati Theertha he entered Vrundavana at Palimar.
