Sri Vasudeva Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Damodara Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 18 years. He was believed to be great scholar and was fond of doing pilgrimage tours. After appointing Sri Vadeendra Theertha as his successor, went for pilgrimage tour to north India and left his mortal body on the banks of river Bhagirathi on the full moon day of Kartika. The place of his demise needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
