Sri Viswapati Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Viswamurthy Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 28 years. He was great scholar and wrote commentaries on many works. He wrote commentaries on Dwadasha Stotra, Vayustuti, Manimanjari, sumadhwavijaya, sangraha Ramayana, Narasimha stuti, Krishnashtaka, etc. He also wrote commentary on Bhagavatha. He also wrote ‘Vijayadhwaja ashtaka’. He appointed Sri Viswanidhi Theertha as his successor and left his mortal body on the 12h day of Vaishakha Shudha at Bhagirathi, but place of Vrundavana needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
