Sri Pushkaraksha Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Kamalaksha Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 22 years. He was a great tapasvi and did pilgrimage tour across this land of India and left his mortal body on the banks of river Ganga on the 1st day of Pushya Shudha.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Amarendra Theertha, it is said that he entered Vrundavana on the banks of river Ganga, but place of Vrundavana needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
