Sri Kamalaksha Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Adhokshaja Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 17 years. He was great scholar and was well versed with all Shastras. He has written one work known as “Harigatha”. He went on a pilgrimage tour across this land of India and left his mortal body on the banks of river Ganga on the 5th day of Kartika Shudha.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Pushkaraksha Theertha, it is said that he entered Vrundavana on the banks of river Ganga, but place of Vrundavana needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
