Sri Raghupati Theertha
Sri Raghupati Theertha is the 3rd saint after Sri Rama Theertha in the guru parampare of Kaniyoor mutt.
Poorvashrama Name :
Ashrama Guru : Sri Raghunatha Theertha
Ashrama Shishya : Sri Raghunandana Theertha
Aradhana : Vaishakha Bahula Tryodashi

Sri Raghupati Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Raghunatha Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 59 years. He was a great scholar in philosophy and he had won many debates across the whole country, defeating scholars of other philosophy thereby increasing the fame of Madhwacharya’s philosophy.
When he came to know that his life was nearing to an end, he handed over the Mutt to his successor Sri Raghunandana Theertha and left for the heavenly abode at Triambakeshwar, Near Nasik in Maharashtra state on the 13th day of Vaishakha Bahula after handing over Peeta to Sri Raghunandana Theertha. His place of Vrundavana needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
