Sri Vedagarbha Theertha is the 8th saint after Sri Rama Theertha in the guru parampare of Kaniyoor mutt.

Sri Yadunandana Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Raghunandana Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 33 years. He was a great scholar in all Shastras, defeated many scholars and collected victory letters from all of them. He was believed to be contemporary of Sri Vyasaraja and Sri Vadiraja. During his last days he handed over the Peeta to his disciple Sri Vageesha Theertha and left the world on the full moon day of the Pushya month at the banks of river Tungabhadra. His place of Vrundavana needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
