Sri Vidyapati Theertha is the 14th saint after Sri Vishnu Theertha in the guru parampare of Sode mutt.

Sri Vidyapati Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vedanga Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 13 years. He was a great Satvik person. He lived mostly in Udupi. He had by hearted all works of acharya madhwa.

After handing over Peeta to Sri Viswavandya Theertha he entered Vrundavana, but place is not known.

Sri Vidyapatitirtha was an ardent disciple of Vedangatirtha. He was known best among pious and virtuous. He spent much of his life- period in Udupi. He used to recite and chant the rendering of holy texts even while walking. His Vrindavanapravesha was in the year 1449 A.D. He was incharge of pontificial empire for 8 years.
