Sri Dharanidhara Theertha
Sri Dharanidhara Theertha is the 5th saint after Madhwacharya in the guru parampare of Puttige mutt.
Poorvashrama Name :
Ashrama Guru : Sri Yadavendra Theertha
Ashrama Shishya : Sri Damodara Theertha
Aradhana : Pushya Bahula Panchami
Vrundavana : Kashi (on the banks of river Ganga)
Sri Dharanidhara Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Yadavendra Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 40 years. Not much information is available about him even though he ruled Peeta for long time. He was believed to be great scholar and developed many scholars.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Damodara Theertha, it is said that he entered Vrundavana at Kashi, but it needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
