Sri Varadaraja Theertha is the 18th saint after Sri Vishnu Theertha in the guru parampare of Sode mutt.

Sri Varadaraja Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vittala Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 7 years. He is believed to have developed mutt in Kumbhasi.it is believed that he wrote a Vyakhyana on Vishnu stuti of Trivikrama panditacharya. His Vrundavana is near to Harihareswara temple in Kumbhasi.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Vageesha Theertha he entered Vrundavana at Kumbhasi.
