Sri Vedaraja Theertha is the 14th saint after Sri Rama Theertha in the guru parampare of Kaniyoor mutt.

Sri Vedaraja Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vedapati Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 20 years. He was also great scholar like his Guru and had detailed scholarship in Shastras and visited Ganga and other tirtha Kshethra’s many times. Finally he handed over the mutt responsibility to his disciple Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha and left for the heavenly abode at the banks of river Godavari on the 8th day of Sravana Bahula, after handing over Peeta to Sri Vidyadheesha Theertha. His place of Vrundavana needs to be confirmed after thorough research.
