Sri Vedavyasa Theertha took Ashrama from Sri Vasudeva Theertha and ruled the Peeta for 8 years. He was expertise not only in dwaitha but also in other philosophies. He was a great scholar. He used to defeat the opponents by showing mistakes in their philosophy.
After handing over Peeta to Sri Varaha Theertha he entered Vrundavana, but place is not known.

While refuting the tenets of opponents he could quote the statements spontaneously from their works. With the choicest blessings of SriHari-Vayu-Guru, Vedavyasatirtha excelled and shined in debates and discourses. He had the good deal of mastery in Shankarabhashya and other works also. The year of his Vrindavanapravesha was 1377 A.D. Vedavyasatirtha enjoyed the pontificial incharge of Vedanta Empire for 8 years.
