swAmIji was working in HAL till 1980, post which he turned towards full time AdhyAtma.

He observed that for many years. In 1990, he started bhIshmapanchaka vrata. He observed that for 10 years. He was recognized for that during the paryAya of pEjAvara maTa in 2000-02.

In 1989, he observed payOvrata along with shri raghunandanAchAryaru (now shri vishwanandana tIrtharu) and during the vrata, he got bhAgavata shravaNa done every day for almost 10 hrs through shri raghunandanAchAr.

He initially took sanyAsa from shri satyAtma tIrtharu of uttarAdi maTa as “pUtAtma tIrtharu” and studied under shri satyAtma tIrtharu.

He then took pEjAvara swamiji, shri vishwEsha tIrtharu, as his guru and was given the name of vishwagurupriya tItharu by shri vishwEsha tIrtharu. He then started staying at pUrNapragna vidyApITa and was attending all the classes there and the ones conducted by shri Prabhanjanachar.

In the last few years before his passing away, he started visiting shri vyAsarAja pratishTitha prANa dEvarUs and was doing madhu abhisheka to the vigrahagaLu. 15 days before his passing away, he participated in bhAgavatha saptAha at shuka sthal and listened to the bhAgavatha with complete fast for 7 days. Post that he reached the lotus feet of the Lord.
