Sacred Bharatha varsha produced great gems of spiritual eminence with their miraculous and saintly orthodox and highly disciplined. Shri Ibharampura Krishnacharya is one among the great saintly personalities. Sri Krishnacharya (popularly known as Appavaru) was blessed to the ideal couple Ahobalacharya and Krishna Bai by their sincere and devoted prayers to Gururajaru (Raghavendra Swamigalu) .Sri Appavaru was born on Vijaya Dashami day.

Sri Krishnacharyaru even from his childhood, began to show miraculous power of divine activities. As a child was given oil bath and allowed to sleep in the cradle, the cradling was noticed without anybody’s action. People around used to flock to witness the rare phenomena. The Parents were poor and despite their humble little means to bring him up, the child grew up with the good qualities of robust health and activities.

Whenever the child was with the mother at the Harikathas or Puranas , he used to show sign of happiness and elation at the episodes of Kamsa Vadha by Krishna or Rukmini Kalayana equally, he used to weep aloud hearing Droupadi Vastraharana, suffering of Dhruwa Raja during his life in forest, Gajanedra Moksha etc.

Krishnacharya , in his boyhood days never showed any interest in studies and anusthana, but preferred to play in an irresponsible easy going way. The Parents were very much disappointed at his progress. One day, vexed by parent’s anger over his attitude, the young Krishnacharya left to a distant jungle and began to weep in solitude. An old man with rare brilliance of eminence on the face, came to young Krishnacharya and with his divine hand, inscribed letters on the tongue of Krishnacharya. Soon, a radical change of God-Consciousness was felt by the Krishnacharya who fell on the feet of the old man. Krishnacharya expressed his greatest happiness and relief. The old-man expressed himself as non-other than Ashwathamacharya. Further, Sri Ashwathmacharya expressed that Sri Mantralaya Gurusarvabhouma (Raghavendra Swamigalu) would greatly contribute to Sri Krishnacharya Sadhana.

Pandava Poojita Sri Panchamukhi Praana Devara idol:

Appavaru was in Mysore for his Sanchara, knowing the presence of Appavaru Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar Invited Appavaru to his Asthana. Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar was himself a great scholar, gnyani, devotee and above all a kind human heart always throbbing towards the satvikas ¬ bhaktas and the sajjanas. The decoration of the meticulous palace looked as though it was Maya nirmita and the work of Vishwakarma, the palace was glittering and shining. Though the fragrance of flowers decoration and the sandal scent was abundant in the palace, the fragrance which came out from the body of Appavaru excelled all this. Even Maharaja was astonished and bowed his head to this sacred personality and came to know that Appavaru is great Mahimavanta, daivamsha and Apparokshna Gyani.  The King washed the sacred feet of Appavaru with gold vessels, wiped the feet with the silk cloth, worshipped with gandha, akshatae and mantrakshatae. The king was so much impressed that he offered several silver, gold, diamond ornaments, articles, silk & jaratari dhotis, shawls, clothes and several things to Appavaru and requested Appavaru to accept them. Maharaja confirmed that Ibharamapura’s Appavaru is SATPAATRA. A great meet of two divine stalwarts at the sannidhaana of Sri Chamundeshwari.

Maharaja happily agreed to offer whatever Appavaru desired for his daily poojas and rituas. One day Appavaru asked to dig the floor for more than six feet at the North East corner of the palace, as per the Appavaru’s instructions, the digging started. All were anxiously looking, as to what they would find in the ground. To the surprise of all, after digging six feet deep, they found a beautiful silver statue of Panchamukhi PraanaDevaru, all felt extremely happy and folded their hands with devotion. Appavaru said this statue was worshipped by Pandavas, the most sacred and the siddhi, and Appavaru desired to worship and opted the idol as Aaradhya Deva. Thus Panchamukhi Pavamana desired the worship of Ibharamapura’s Appavaru. After seeing Pavamana, Appavaru with devotional ecstasy composed the shloka as he had ashukavitva:

Dashabhuja, Panchavadana, Garuda, Naarasimha,Vaanara, Varaaha, Hayavadana  Panchamukhi all in one statue sannihita in Pavamaana. The divine incarnation of Sri Harisarvottama Vayujeevottama,  Appavaru described to Maharaja and to all the satvikas of Mysore. In the palace as per the request of Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Maharaja, Appavaru performed the first pooja of Pavamaana in the palace itself. The King liberally offered gold and jewels ornaments to Mukhyaparadevaru and thus became highly gratitude.

Panchamukhi Praana Devaru who was dwelling in the palace, under the ground, six feet below at the North East direction, graciously came to Ibharamapura’s Appavaru and became Aaradhya Daiva.

Krishnarya’s Aparoksh Gnyana :

Appavaru owing to the Aparokshagnyana and Bhakti used to forecast and foretell what is going to happen in future. In Mantralaya once a great scholar by name Sri Ganesha Acharya met Appavaru and performed namaskara to the sacred feet of Appavaru . Immediately Appavararu told Ganesh Acharya that today you are doing Namaskara and from tomorrow onwards I have to do Namaskara to you. Everybody were astonished by hearing these words from Appavaru, as Appavru was a Aproxa Gnyani and everyone used to bow to him, but in the evening a message was came from Nanjanagudu from H.H.Sri  Sugnyanendra Theertharu to start immediately to Nanjanagudu. As per the message, Ganesh Acharya started immediately from Mantralaya and reached Nanjangudu, met Swamiji. Sri Sugnyanendra Teertharu was about to attain the lotus feet of Sri Hari, made him as his successor and named as Sri Sudharmendra Teertharu.

Sri Appavara Anugraha to Guru Jagannatha Dasaru

Vekagiriacharya (father of Sri Guru Jagannatha Dasaru) and Sri Appavru where close friends. Sri Vekagiriacharya didn’t had a Santana. Once Sri Venktagiriacharya came to Ibharampura to meet Appavaru. Achaaryaru stayed there for a week in Ibharampura. Sri Venkatagiriacharya meet Appavaru when he was doing Madhu Abhisheka to Pandava Poojita Panchamukhi Mukhyapranadevaru . Sri Acharyararu expressed his feeling for having a Santana, which he didn’t have. Appavaru gave a Pearl from his Devara Peetige and gave Ashirvada to Acharyaru and said “Muttinantha Maga Hututane“. Sri Appavaru Ashiravada didn’t went wrong. Sri Vekagiriacharya was blessed with a child. That child was none other than Guru Jagannatha Dasaru.

Guru Jagannatha Dasaru made an enormous contribution to Dasa Sahithya. One of his most famous composition is “Tugire Rayara Tugire Gurugala“, which is song every day in all the Rayar Mutt’s across the globe . He wrote nearly 30 books on philosophy like ‘brahma sutra Bhashya AdhyAtmikartha’, ‘Para Para tattva dipika etc‘, along with 40 stotras in sanskrit and a number of songs in kannada. He also wrote commentaries on Harikathamruthasara in kannada and Sanskrit.

Sri Appavara Yoga Shakthi:

Once Sri Appavaru had been to Gadag and visited the famous temple of Sri VeeraNarayana . It was afternoon time and Pooja, Alankara, Naivedya and Mahamangalarati  were all completed. Archakas and the Parupateyedars, after all Prathakarya Seve and Pooja had left and the temple was closed. Appavaru stepped into the temple, seeing the closed doors, Appavaru prayed to Lord Veera Narayana and said loudly Oh! Narayanappa I have come to see you, but the doors are all closed, and the closed doors opened automatically without the keys. Appavaru had darshana of Darshana Brahma Sri VeeraNarayana and started conversation with Veera Narayana. Lord Narayana offered Pratyaksha Darshana to Appavaru. Sri Yogi Narayanacharya who was the immense devote surrendered to Appavara Apparoxa Gyana. Sri Narayanacharya was a resident of Gadag, and a great devotee of Sri VeeraNarayana ,Raghavendra Swamigalu and led a life like a Yogi. He was  also a great scholar.

After seeing Appavara’s divine personality, Sri Yogi Narayanacharya immediately surrendered to Appavaru and requested him to accept him as his shishya. Sri Yogi Narayanacharya always followed Sri Appavaru, lived with him and performed the seva with devotion and affection.

Haridasarige Mandira

Sri Kamalesha Dasaru in his Kruthi “sri Raghavendra rayara padambhuja aradhakara kondadiro” mentions Sri Appavaru as “Haridasarige mandidravada Ibharampurdi Mereuva krishnaraya”.  Sri Appavaru was Swaroopodhakaru for many dasaru like Sri Jayesha Vithala Dasaru, Sri Vijayaramachandara Dasaru , Sri Kamalesha Dasaru , GuruJaganatha Dasaru, Sri Yoginarayanacharya. Sri Appavaru played a prominent role in their life to attain the Gynana ,Bhakthi  and made huge contribution to Dasa Sahithya.

Divine Smell

Sri Appavaru every day during his bath used to emit a very divine Smell. All his items including the letters, cloths, and materials which Appavaru were using, used to have a divine smell. This divinity of Appavaru was because of  parayana of “Parimala Grantha” which was composed by Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu, this also shows Sri Appavara Topa bala.

Sri Raghavendra Chittaghnam :

Sri Yoginarayacharya who is the direct disciple of Sri Appavaru in a stotra mentions “ಶ್ರೀರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞಂ” which clearly says that Sri Appavaru did know the insights of Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Here is a small instance in Sri Appavara biography which prove that. At Mantralayam, one Sri Nanadavara Desai and his family were doing seva to Sri Gurusarbhoumaru regularly, as they didn’t have child. The couple made a sankalpa in front of Rayaru that they will do a 1 Lakh Barahmana Bhojana if they have a Child. With the blessing of Rayaru, the couple were blessed with a Child. But, Couple were now worried about the sankalpa they had made of 1 Lakh Brahamana Bhojana . Again Nandavara Desai Couple pleaded Rayaru to provide a solution, for which they had made a sankalpa. Rayaru in the dreams of Desai said “I Will direct my shishaya to come to your home, make the arrangements for brahamana bhojana”.  The Desai Couple after Rayara assurance was waiting for a brahmana to come to their home . Sri Appavaru knew the insights of Gururajaru approached the couples and told the couple that, Rayaru has informed him about Brahamana Bhojana in their home. Desai Family were blessed by Appavaru .This Instance clearly shows that Sri Appavaru knew the heart of Gururajaru.

Sri Appavara Aradhane:

Sri Appavaru attained Haripada on Sharavana Masa Sukhla Paksha Tritiya, in the year 1869.Sri Yoginarayanacharya who was the closest shishya and devotee of Sri Appavaru was also a master in carvings. After Appavaru attained haripada Sri Yoginayanacharya made a carving on Shaligrama Shila of Sri Appavaru and Chaturbhuja Venugopala and installed in Ibharampura which is being worshipped till date by the vamshastaru of Sri Appavru.

Shri Ibharampura Krishnacharya is a great saintly personality. The village which produced great Acharya i.e, Ibharampura is just about 2 ½ Miles from Mantalayam. Shri Ibharampura Krishnacharya (lovingly called by short name Appavaru) was blessed to the ideal couple Ahobalacharya and Krishna Bai of this village, by their sincere, devoted prayers to Gururaja. The couple had also performed ‘Naga Prathista’ . Their long unhappy status of Childlessness was done away by the child ‘Krishna’.

The parents were much disappointed at the boy's discouraging progress. One day, vexed by the parents anger over his indifference, the young krishnacharya left to a distant jungle to weep in solitude. An old man with rare brilliance of eminence on the face came to the boy and with his divine hand, inscribed letters on the tongue. Soon, radical change of God-Consciousness was felt by the boy who fell at the feet of the old man. He expressed his happiness and relief. The old man revealed himself as “Ashwatama Acharya” and blessed krishnacharya with all the powers of curing poverty and diabolical spirits. “Ashwatama Acharya”, further expressed that Shri Gururaja would greatly contribute for krishnacharya’s power to relieve the sicknesses and anxieties of his devotees for over 80 years of his life.

Krishnacharya entered Grihasta Ashrama and began to lead a life of high discipline. “Athithis“ and “Abhyagatis” were promptly attended to after the parents paralokayatra.

Appavaru knew the heart of Mantralaya Prabhu Sri Raghavendra, being his antaranga bhakta. By the blessings and anugraha of Rayaru he helped abundant bhaktas. A staunch worshipper of arjuna pUjita Panchamukhi Praanadevaru, Appavaru received that Panchamukhi Hanuma idol from Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar.

Venkatagiriyacharya, father of Guru Jagannatha Dasaru & Sri Appavaru were close friends. From many years Venkatagiri Acharyaru didn't have Santana bhagya. Once Venkatagiri acharyaru approached Appavaru. Appavaru was doing Pranavdevara pooja. Acharyaru pleaded to Appavaru that "You did anugraha to many sajjanas. As you know that I don't have Santana bhagya please do Anugraha". Then during pearl (muttu) abhisheka to pranadevaru Appavaru gave a pearl to Venkatagiriacharya saying "You will have a son like pearl (Muttinanthana Maga huttutane)". Appavara vakya didn't go wrong "Sri Guru Jagannatha Dasaru (Swamiraayaachaaryaru)" was born.

Once Sri Appavaru had been to Gadag. Visited the famous temple of Sri VeeraNarayana that too in the afternoon. At that time Pooja, Alankara, Naivedya, Mahamangalarati were all completed. The Archakas and the Parupateyedars closed the doors of Garbhaalaya, locked and went home. The temple is really worth seeing, such a massive, huge temple beautifully built. It is heartening to know that Kumaravyasa Mahakavi, a great poet of Kannada has composed the Bhaarata – Gadugina Bhaarata sitting in the temple leaning on to a pillar with utmost devotion. Swami Sri VeeraNarayana blessed him and he used to say that Veera Narayana is the poet and he was only the copier. So Appavaru stepped into the temple. He said "I have come all the way to seek your darshana Narayana. Narayanappa, but the doors are all closed and locked, what is this?" At that time to great surprise, the locks opened automatically without the keys and doors opened. Appavaru went inside and took the darshana of darshana Brahma Sri Veera Narayana and started talking to Him. Swami offered Pratyaksha Darshana to Appavaru.

Sri Yogi Narayanacharya, a resident of Gadag, was there on the spot. He actually witnessed the meet and the talk. After seeing Appavara’s divine personality, immediately surrendered to Appavaru and requested him to accept him as his shishya. From that day onwards Yogi Narayanacharya always followed Sri Appavaru, lived with him and performed the seva with devotion and affection. Sri Narayanacharya, was a great devotee of Sri Veera Narayana and led the life of a Yogi. He was a scholar, a sculptor and a Sanskrit pandit. It is he who has written about Appavaru and introduced him to the world.

Appavaru sometimes gave darshana to his devotees with shesharoopa. Sri Appavaru always had the fragrance from his body where ever he went. All the people young and old never called him by name. With honour and respect they called him Appavaru.

Lakumeesha Dasaru has said:

Those who really worship with faith and belief, Appavaru has actually removed all their evils, paapas, difficulties by the complete blessings of Mantralaya Rayaru.

Appavaru was daily going to Mantralaya from Ibharamapura to take the Darshana of Rayaru. It was a part of his main sacred routine. Ibharamapura’s Appavaru became a close associate of Rayaru, who knew the inner feelings of Rayara Antaranga Bhakta. At that time Appavaru himself took the responsibility of feeding the Devotees coming to Mantralaya and Appavaru used to invite all of them and took them to Ibharamapura. Thus Appavaru was treating the guests and offered the hospitality with pleasure.

Atithi Devo Bhava, that too the Mantralaya devotees Appavaru always took special care of them. For the devotees stay Appavaru built the houses in Mantralaya, till today we can find them though they are pretty old. Appavaru always was breathing Mantralaya Mantralaya.

Rayara Namochchaarana was the Gayatri of Appavaru and the paaaraayana of the Sudha and the Parimala was the Sacred Bath of Ganges, etc. He guided the devotees on the right path .

Ibharamapura’s Appavaru was so dear and near to Mantralaya Rayaru, that Rayaru was appearing in the dreams of the Sevarthis and told several times that "tomorrow I will not be here in Mantralaya and going to Ibharamapura". This proves that how Appavaru was dear to Rayaru. Appavaru stayed in Mantralaya, performed the Seva of Rayaru with intense devotion, gained affection of Rayaru and cured several devotees by Mruttika.

Nandawaar Desai’s son was fully abnormal in growth, daily by applying Rayara Mruttika Ibharamapura’s Appavaru, made him healthy and Bestowed long life by Rayaru. Appavaru has completely removed Alpaayu (shortlived), Apamrutyu (bad and untimely death) by Rayara Mruttika, Padodaka, Mantrakshatae and Sheshavastra.

Always concerned in the welfare of the devotees Appavaru became very close to all and spread the Tatvas, Miracle of Rayaru ¬ Malkheda Teekaraya- Jaiteertharu’s Sudha ¬ Anuvyakhyaana of Sri Srimadacharya and Mantralaya Rayaru’s Parimala.

Once Sri AnandaDasaru of Surpur (Kamaleshavithalankita), a great devotee of Sri Raghavendrateertharu who has composed abundant songs of Rayaru was in Ganadhaalu at the Sanctum of Sri Panchamukhi Devaru for Anushthaana for several days. Suddenly he remembered that next day waa Shraavana Krishna Dwiteeya, the Aradhana of Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Came to cross the river Tungabhadra. But Tungabhadra was overflowing, full of spate. Asked the oarsman to go to Mantralaya. Owing to the spate and the force of the water the oars man refused for rowing the boat. Sri Ananda Dasaru requested too much to the oarsman and somehow he has to reach Mantralaya without fail. After a lot of pressure the oarsman placed the boat into the river. After crossing a little with the rudder the water entered into the boat, though the oarsman struggled hard. Ananada Dasaru decided that his end has come now, but the strong desire to participate in the Rayara Aradhana at Mantralaya could not be reduced even at this critical juncture. 

At that time two Brahmins wearing only Koupeena came crossing the river near the boat, tied a rope to the boat and again went on the other side of the boat, started pulling the boat. Kamaleshavitrhalankitaru was really surprised to see this. It appeared as though it is JALAPRALAYA. Safely they pulled the boat. The oarman was surprised to see the scene, offered gratitude to this kind act of the two Brahmins. Sri AnandaDasaru reached the bank of Mantralaya. Asked the two Brahmins, "who are you? what are your names? I am really grateful to you, you have really saved our lives". By hearing this, the two Brahmins replied that my name is Raghappa, and the other one replied that his name is Vaadappa. They both said happily that in Mantralaya Sri Ibharamapura’s Appavaru and several Gnyanis have gathered, so please go to Mutt immediately and soon disappeared. Surpur AnandaDasaru soon thought that the two Brahmins are none but the Great Divine Saints of Sri Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu and Sri Vadeendrateertharu. What an amount of pains they have taken to save the life of this Devotee. Tears rolled unknowingly, could not find the way due to tears, some how came near the main door of the Mutt, Ibharampura’s Appavaru was there only, welcomed him with smile, "Oh Dasare you have escaped by the danger of being drowned in Tungabhadra by the Paramanugrha of Sri Raghavendrateertharu". Aparoksha Gnyani Ibharamapura’s Appavaru knew the heart of Rayaru and was fully aware of all the activities of Rayaru as he was very near.

Hampi Car Festival

The servant maid (Rangappa's wife) on krishnacharya's house left for hampi (leaving behind her 12 years old boy bangaru) to witness the car festival. The boy finding mother's absence till evening burst into tears and even became swoned in disperetion. The father, Raganna, approached Appavaru for relief. Appavaru took them both upstairs and showed them and many others assembled there, the hampi car-festival. Bangaru was made to see even his mother in one of the mantapams there in hampi (as equal to morden telescope).

As per every year Sri Appavara Aradhane (1789-1869) will be observed at Sri Keshtra Ibharampura. Shravana Shuda Pratipadya(Poorva Aradhane) 16th August, Trutiya (Madya Aradhane)17th August and Chatruti (Uttara Aradhane) 18th of August 2015. Sri Yogi Narayanacharya Aradhane and Satyanarayana Pooje will be on 19th August 2015 . So i invite haribhaktaru to participated in Aradhane with Tanu , Manu, Dhana.

Special note:
On this Occasion Madhu Abhisheka will be done for Pandava Pujita Pranadevaru.

ಸುರಪುರದ ಆನಂದ ದಾಸರು , ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ , ಮೊದಲಕಲ್ಲು ಶೇಷದಾಸರು , ವಿಜಯರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ವಿಠಲರು , ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರು , ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರು (ಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರು) , ಯಳಮೇಲಿ ಹಯಗ್ರೀವಾಚಾರ್ಯರು , ಹುಲಗಿ ನರಸಪ್ಪಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ,ಗುರುಜಗನ್ನಾಥ ದಾಸರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ  ಅಪರಿಮಿತವಾದ ಭಕ್ತಿ. ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ಸಹ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಂತಃಕರಣ - ಪ್ರೀತಿ - ಮಾತೃವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹಸು - ಕರುವಿನ ಸಂಬಂಧ.
ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಕಲ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞಂ ಸಾರಮಾತ್ರ ವದಾವದಂ ।
ದೂರೀಕೃತ ದುರಾಚಾರಂ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಗುರುಂಭಜೇ ।।

ಅಗಮ್ಯ ಮಹಿಮರೆಂದು ಜಗತ್ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾದರಿಂದ " ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞಂ " ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಪಡೆದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಂದ ರಚಿತವಾದ " ಶ್ರೀ ಇಭರಾಮಪುರದ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ" ದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳು ಶೃತಿ - ಸ್ಮೃತಿ - ಪುರಾಣೋಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತವೆಂದೂ; ಭಾಗವತ - ಭಾರತ - ಛಾಂದೋಗ್ಯಾದಿ ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಂದು  ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

- ಇಭರಾಮಪುರದಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದು ಹಂಪಿ ಜಾತ್ರೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದು
- ಗುರು ಜಗನ್ನಾಥ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ.
- ಮೈಸೂರು ಮುಮ್ಮಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಒಡೆಯರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಪೂರ್ವ ಜನ್ಮದ ವೃತಾಂತ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ರಾಜರಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ
- ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಂಡವ ಪೂಜಿತ ಅರ್ಜುನ ಕರಾರ್ಚಿತ ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ  ಪ್ರಾಣ ದೇವರು ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿ
- ಮೈಸೂರು ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ
- ಗದುಗ ದರ್ಶನ  ವೀರ ನಾರಾಯಣನ ಜೊತೆ ಸಂದರ್ಶನ
- ಗದುಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಯೋಗ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ವೀರನಾರಾಯಣನನ್ನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ.
- ನಂದವಾರ ದೇಸಾಯಿ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಸಂತಾನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ
- ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕಲ ತೀರ್ಥ ಯಾತ್ರೆ
- ಭವಾನಿ ಭುಜಂಗರಾಯರ ಪುತ್ರರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಣದಾನ
- ಬೇಲೂರು ಕೇಶವ ದಾಸರ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಸಂತಾನದ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ
- ಭವಿಷ್ಯವಾಣಿ - ರಿತ್ತಿ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ರಾಯರ ಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿರಾಜಮಾನರಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ ,ಅವರೇ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಂಸ ನಾಮಕ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ ಪರಂಪರೆಯಾದ  ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ ಮಧ್ವಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಮೂಲಮಹಾಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರು ಎಂದು ಜಗನ್ಮಾನ್ಯರಾದರು.
- ಮಂತ್ರಾಕ್ಷತೆಯಿಂದ ಕುಷ್ಠಾಧಿ ರೋಗ ಪರಿಹಾರ.
- ಮಂತ್ರಾಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಮೈಸೂರು ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಪಿಶಾಚಿ ನಿವಾರಣೆ
- ಲಕ್ಷ ವಿಪ್ರ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಭೋಜನ.
- ಕುಂಪಿಣಿಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಭವ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆ.
- ಗದ್ವಾಲ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾದ ಕ್ಷಾಮ ನಿವಾರಣೆ.
- ಗದ್ವಾಲ್ ಅಗ್ರಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರು, ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ  ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮೇರೆಗೆ , ಗದ್ವಾಲಿಂದ ಇಭರಾಮಪುರಕೆ ಬಂದು  ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದು.
-  ಸರ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾ ಪಾರಂಗತರಾದ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಬಂದ ರಾಮಚಾರ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಪಂಡಿತರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ತರುವವನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ,ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು  ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬೆನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟಿ ಅಶಕ್ತನಾದವನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಪಂಡಿತನಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ ನ್ಯಾಯಸುಧಾ ಪರಿಮಳ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಮೇಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳನು ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯದ ಗರ್ವಭಂಗ ಮಾಡಿ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದು.
- ಹುಲಿ ಮರಡಿಯ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇ ಹುಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ವ್ಯಾಘ್ರ ಭಾದೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ.
- ಸುರಪುರದ ಆನಂದ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರೂಪ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ.
- ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಿದಾಸರು , ಅಪರೋಕ್ಷ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವರೂಪೊದ್ದಾರಕರಾಗಿ ಹರಿದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಮಂದಿರ ಎಂದು ಬಿರುದು.

ಸುರಪುರದ ಆನಂದ ದಾಸರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರೂಪೋದ್ಧಾರಕ ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು, ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ದಯಾಳುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಅಂತರಂಗ ಭಕ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಪರೋಕ್ಷ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ.

ದಾರಾಧಕರ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರೋ ।। ಪಲ್ಲವಿ ।।

ನಾರಾಯಣ ನಾಮ ಪಾರಾಯಣರ । ಪಾ ।
ದಾರವಿಂದ ಸುಧಾ ರಸವ ಬೀರುವಾ ।। ಅ. ಪ ।।

ಅಲವಬೋಧ ಸತ್ಕುಲ ದೀಪರೆನಿಸಿದ ।
ಹುಲುಗಿಯ ನರಸಪ್ಪಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।
ಕಲಿಯೊಳು ಕಲಿಕೃತ ಕಲ್ಮಶ ಕಳೆವೆ ।
ನಿರ್ಮಲ ರಾಯ್ಚೂರು ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।।
ಇಳೆಯೊಳು ಚುಷಷ್ಠಿ ಕಳದಿ ನಿಪುಣರಾದ ।
ಯಳಮೇಲಿ ಹಯಗ್ರೀವಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।
ಹಲವು ಸಜ್ಜನರೊಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳದಲಿಪ್ಪ ।
ಬಲವಂತ ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಾರ್ಯರ ।। 

ಧರಣಿದೇವರಿಗೆ ನಿರುತಾನ್ನವನೀವ ।
ವರ ಹರಿಹರ ಭೀಮಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।
ಹರಿದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಮಂದಿರವಾದ ।
ಇಭರಾಂಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರೆವ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।।
ಶಿರಿಪಾದ ಪುತ್ರ ಪಂಡಿತರೊಳಗಗ್ರೇ ।
ಸರ ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗದ ರಾಮಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।
ಸುರಪುರ ಶ್ರೀ ನರಹರಿಯ ಪಾದಾಂಬುಜ ।
ಸಿರಿಯೊಳ್ಮೆರೆವ ಅಸ್ಮದ್ಗುರು ರಾಜಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ।।

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರರಾಯರ ಭೂಮಿಯೊಳವ ।
ಮಾಡಿದ ಆರಂಭದಿಂ ।
ದಾರಾರು ಬೃಂದಾವನ ಪೂಜಾ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಿಂ ।
ದಾರಾಧಿಸುವರಾನಂದದಿ ।।
ಸಾರ ಭಕ್ತರ ಪಾದಾರವಿಂದಕೆ । ನಮ ।
ಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿರೋ ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗದಿ ।
ಧೀರ ಶ್ರೀ ಕಮಲೇಶವಿಠ್ಠಲ ವಲಿದು ತನ್ನ ।
ಸಾರೂಪ್ಯವ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸಲಹುವ ಸಂತತಾ ।।

ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞ

ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ಸಂತಾನ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಬೇಡಲು ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂತಾನ ಕರುಣಿಸಿದರೆ ರಾಯರ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರಿಗೆ ದಾಸೋಹ ಎಂಬುದು ಅವರ ಹರಕೆ. ದಯಾಮಯಿ ರಾಯರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ದಂಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಶು ಜನಿಸಿತು. ಹರಕೆ ಹೊರುವ ಭರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಂಡ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರಿಗೆ ದಾಸೋಹ ಮೈ ಚಳಿ (ಬೆವರು) ಹಿಡಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಂತೂ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು, ರಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಷ್ಟ ಅರುಹಿದರು.

 ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕನಸಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಯರು ..

"ನಾಳೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಠದ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುದುರೆಯೇರಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹರಕೆಯ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ತೀರುವುದು" ಎಂದು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಮರುದಿನ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಿಂದ ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ಚಾತಕ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ಮಠದ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಒಂದೆರಡು ಗಂಟೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ರಾಯರೇ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಒಬ್ಬಾತ ಕುದುರೆಯೇರಿ ಬಂದವರು ಈ ದಂಪತಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೇ ಬಂದು.."ರಾಯರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಎಂದು ಬರಲಿ ಸತ್ಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು?" ಎಂದು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿಯೂ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದಂಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ. ಆದರೂ ರಾಯರ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ನಂಬಿದ್ದ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿ, ಆಗಬಹುದೇ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಒಪ್ಪಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಸತ್ಕಾರದ ದಿನ ಬಂತು. ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ಯೋಗ್ಯ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನನ್ನು ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ತದ ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಭೋಜನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದಾಗ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದಾಗ ಮಗುದೊಂದು, ಮುಂದೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು...ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಎಲೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಯರ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಅಗಾಧ..ಕರುಣೆಯೂ ಅಗಾಧ.

ಅಂದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಯಾರು ಗೊತ್ತೇ..

ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದ ಸಮೀಪ ಇರುವ ಇಭರಾಮ ಪುರದ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು. ಅವರು ರಾಯರೊಡನೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಿತದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ರಾಯರ ಬ್ರಂದಾವನದ ಮುಂದೆ ರಾಯರೊಡನೆ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ನಡೆಸುವ, ರಾಯರ ಅಂತರಾಳ ತಿಳಿದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾನ್ ಸಂತರು. ಇವರ ನಿಜ ನಾಮ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರು.

ಆದರೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ಆಪ್ಪಾವರು ಅಂತಾನೆ ಕರೆಯೋದು. 

ಇವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹೆಸರು.. ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞಂ ಅಂತ.  ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥ "ರಾಯರ ಮನದಾಳ ಬಲ್ಲವರು" ಎಂದು. ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವವರಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಭರಾಂ ಪುರಕ್ಕೂ ಭೇಟಿಯಿತ್ತು ಧನ್ಯತೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಂದ ರಚಿತವಾದ " ಶ್ರೀ ಇಭರಾಮಪುರದ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ " ದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳು ಶ್ರುತಿ - ಸ್ಮೃತಿ - ಪುರಾಣೋಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತವೆಂದೂ - ಭಾಗವತ - ಭಾರತ - ಛಾ೦ದ್ಯೋಗ್ಯಾದಿ ಉಪನಿಷತ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಂದು ಎಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಪಡಿಸಿವೆ!

ಬೊಮ್ಮನ ಅರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಮುಂದೆ ।

ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆವಾ ।।

ಜೀವದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ।

ಭುವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಅಖಿಳ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂದು ಪೊರೆವಾ ।।

ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಅವತಾರರೆಂದು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.

ಆದರೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮೂಲ ರೂಪ ಶ್ರೀ ಹನುಮಂತದೇವರ ತಂದೆಯಾದ " ಶ್ರೀ ಕೇಸರಿ " ನಾಮಕ ಕಪಿಯೆಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ;

ಕೆಲವರು ಶ್ರೀಮದಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾದ " ಶ್ರೀ ಸತ್ಯತೀರ್ಥ " ರೇ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಾಗಿ ಅವತರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದರೆ;

ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಕೌತಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿವ್ಯ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿ ಮೆರೆದರೂ; ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚಾರಿಗಳಾದರೂ ಯತಿಗಳಂತೆ ವೃಂದಾವನಸ್ಥರಾಗಿ ಈಗಲೂ ಆಶ್ರಿತರನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ " ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗಯ್ಯ ತಾತ " ಅವರೇ ಪುನಃ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಾಗಿ ಇಭರಾಮಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವತಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ!!

ಲೌಕಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶ್ರುತಿ - ಸ್ಮೃತಿ - ಪುರಾಣ - ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ಅಪೂರ್ವವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯಿತ್ತು. 

ಶ್ರೀಮದಾನಂದತೀರ್ಥರ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತವನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರೀತಿಯೇ ಒಂದು ಸೊಬಗು. 

ಗಂಗಾ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತೆ ಸಜ್ಜನರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಲಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದೇ ಆನಂದ. 

ಅವರ ಬೋಧೆ ಸರಳ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ನುಡಿಕಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತಲ್ಲದೇ ಶ್ರೀ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ್ಯಾ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾದ ಸದೃಢ ಭಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೀಪನಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. 

ಪರವಾದಿಗಳು ಎಂಥಹಾ ಪಂಡಿತರೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಣ ಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರುತ್ತರಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಅಪೂರ್ವವಾದ ವಾಕ್ಚಾತುರ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸಿತ್ತು!

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೆ ಅಪರಿಮಿತವಾದ ಭಕ್ತಿ, ಗೌರವ. 

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರೂಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಂತಃಕರಣ - ಪ್ರೀತಿ - ಮಾತೃವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯ ತೋರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 

ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹಸು - ಕರುವಿನ ಸಂಬಂಧ. 

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಇಭರಾಮಪುರದಿಂದ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 

ಕಾಲಾಂತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲೇ ನೆಲೆಸಿದರು. 

ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೇಗಿತ್ತೆಂದರೆ..

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಕಲ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರವೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾರವರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲೇ ತಿಳಿದಿರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞ೦ 

ಸಾರಮಾತ್ರ ವದಾವದಂ ।

ದೂರೀಕೃತ ದುರಾಚಾರಂ 

ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಗುರು೦ಭಜೇ ।।

ಅಗಮ್ಯ ಮಹಿಮರೆಂದು ಜಗತ್ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ " ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಚಿತ್ತಜ್ಞ೦ " ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಪಡೆದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ಋಜುಗಳೆಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವಿದ್ವಾನ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸ್ನೇಹ ಸಂಬಂಧ. 

ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಪ್ರಕಾಂಡ ಪಂಡಿತರೂ - ವಾಗ್ಮಿಗಳೂ -  ಸದ್ಗುಣ ಸಂಪನ್ನರೂ - ವಿದ್ಯೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ವಿನಯ. 

ಇವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗೌರವ. ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೀರ್ಘದಂಡಪ್ರಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಮಠದ ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು. 

ಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸುವ ವಿಚಾರ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಿತ್ತು. 

ಅದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಗೌರವಾದರಗಳಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ದೀರ್ಘ ದಂಡಪ್ರಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. 

ಆಗ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ನಗುತ್ತಾ...

" ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರೇ ಇಂದು ನೀವು ನಮಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಿರಿ. 

ಆದರೆ ನಾಳೆಯಿಂದ ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು " ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಏನೋ ದೊದ್ದವರು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಅವರು ಅವರು ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರು. 

ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದ ನಂತರ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರ ಮಾತಿನ ಸತ್ಯ ಅರ್ಥವಾಯಿತು. 

ಕೂಡಲೇ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರಿಂದ ಆದೇಶ ಬಂದಿತು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆರಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 

ಅಪರೋಕ್ಷ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರಿಗೆ ದೀರ್ಘ ದಂಡ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಮಠದ ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿ " ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ " ರೆಂಬ ಅಭಿದಾನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತರಾದರು.

ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ನಂತರವೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಗಳಿಂದ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 

ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸತ್ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರ ಮೂಲ ಬೃಂದಾವನವು ಶ್ರೀ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ ಪರಮ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರ ವಿದ್ಯಾ - ಪಂಡಿತ ಪೋಷಣೆ - ಶಿಷ್ಯ ಜನೋದ್ಧಾರ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಮಹಿಮಾ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಅಂತರಂಗ ಭಕ್ತರೂ - ಉತ್ತರಾದಿ ಮಠದ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಆದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾವಧೂತರು " ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ಮಹೋದಯಃ "ಎಂಬ ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಮನೋಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

" ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳು "

1. ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯರಾಮಚಂದ್ರದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಪರಮಾನುಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು.

2. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಮಹಾರಾಜರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಂತೆ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ಮೂಳೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿ ಆಗಿಸಲು ಆದೇಶ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. 

ಅದರಂತೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗೆಯಲು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಂಡವರಿಂದ ಪೂಜಿತ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

3. ಗದುಗಿನ ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದು.

4. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ಭವಾನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ " ಮದು ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಣದಾನ "

5. ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ಮುಂಡರಗಿ ಜೋಯಿಸ್ ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾದುಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದರು. 

ಜೋಯಿಸರು ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಆ ಪಾದುಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಕಲ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರು!!

" ಸುಜ್ಞಾನ ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಕಣ್ಮರೆ "

ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತಾ - ಪಂಚಮುಖನ ಪಂಚ ರೂಪಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೋ ಪಂಕಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅಪೂರ್ವವಾದ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಗೊಂಡ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಪ್ಪಾವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ " ಗಾಣಧಾಳದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿ " ಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಆ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತವಾದ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೆರಡು ದಿನ ಧ್ಯಾನಾಸಕ್ತರಾದರು.

ಅಗಮ್ಯ ಮಹಿಮನಾದ ವಾಯುವಾಹನ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ ವಿವಿಧ ಮಹಿಮೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಲಕು ಹಾಕಿದರು. 

ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಪಂಚಮುಖಿ ಪ್ರಾಣದೇವರು ಸುರಿಸಿದ ಕಾರುಣ್ಯ ವೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣಲೆಗಳು ತೇಲಿ ಬಂದವು. 

ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಕಲ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಭಾರತೀ ರಮಣ ಮುಖ್ಯಪ್ರಾಣಾಂತರ್ಗತ ಶ್ರೀ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ನೃಸಿಂಹದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪಾದಾರವಿಂದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ " ಶ್ರಾವಣ ಶುದ್ಧ ತೃತೀಯಾ " ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪಾದಾರವಿಂದವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದರು!!

ಪಾಪ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಪಾಪ -

ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿ ದೇಹದಿ ।

ಲೋಪಗೈಸೋದು ಸತ್ಕರ್ಮ ।

ದೀಪ ನೀನಾಗಿರೆ -

ಉಪದೇಶಿಸೀ ಭವ ।

ಕೂಪದಿಂದೆತ್ತೆಂದು -

ಬೇಡಿದೆನಲ್ಲದೆ ।। ಚರಣ ।।

ವಿಷಯದೊಳ್ಸಂಚರಿಪ -

ದೋಷಕಾರಿ ಮನ ।

ಆಶೆಯೊಳು ಪೊಕ್ಕು ।

ನಾಶ ಗೈದೆನ್ನ ವಿ-

ಶೇಷ ಸಾಧನಗಳ । ನೀ ।

ಪೋಷಿಸು ಎಂದು -

ಬೇಡಿದನಲ್ಲದೆ ।। ಚರಣ ।।

ಸುಧೆ ತಂದ ವಿಜಯರಾಮ-

ಚಂದ್ರವಿಠಲ । ನಿನ ।

ಗೆದಿರ್ಯಾರೋ ಪೇಳುವರು ।

ಮುದದಿಂದ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾರ್ಯರೊಳು -

ಬೇಡಿದೆನಲ್ಲದೆ ।। ಚರಣ ।।

ಗದುಗಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ಯೋಗಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರು...

ಭಾರತೀಶ ಪದದ್ವಂದ್ವ೦ -

ಸಾರಸ ಭ್ರಮರಾಯಿತಮ್ ।

ಸುರವತ್ಕಾಂತಿ ಸಂಪನ್ನಂ -

ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಗುರು೦ಭಜೇ ।।

ಭಾರತೀ ಪತಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಖ್ಯಪ್ರಾಣನ ಪಾದ ಕಮಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಂಬಿಯಂತಿರುವ - ದೇವತೆಗಳಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಗುರುಗಳನ್ನು ಭಜಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ!!
