Some informations about Sri Sujnanendra Thirtharu –

He was a great tapasvi .   One day when he was doing taps, a sparrow which used to sit in a small hole in his tapa room was making lot of noice.  He was disturbed and he could not have concentration for doing tapas, he  opened his eyes.  There, he saw a sparrow (Gubbachi),  and suddenly the sparrow died.   Sreegalu was shocked at the incident and he told one of his shishyas to do prokshane of  some Mantrargyodaka on the sparrow.  As soon the prokshane is done, the sparrow got back the life and flew away.     This is an example of his tapa shakti.

An incident during Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Vodeyar rule in Nanjangud. –  Once the King of Mysore, Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja Vodeyar sent his deputy commissioner, who was an English man to do some of the Mutt’s work.     He had sent a message through Raja Sri Rajagopalacharya, the poorvashrama son of the Swamiji that the Deputy Commissioner will look after the mutt’s needs.  But swamiji did not say anything.   Thinking that the mounam sammathi lakshnam, he sent the DC to Swamiji’s sannidhana.   At that time Sreegalu was doing tapas near a Tulasi Vrundavana.  When the DC went near the Tulasi Vrundavana, he could not see any body but the entire shishyas of swamiji were seeing the swamiji but not the English DC.  Even the people who had accompanied the DC also could see the swamiji but not the English DC.   After realising that the Swamiji is not interested in seeing the English DC,  he went back.   From this we can understand that he was giving darshana as per his jnaana only.

Prathistapana of Shila mooruthi of Rayaru – Once Rayaru came in a dream of a dhobi (cloth washer) and told him that the stone in which he was washing the clothes had the saannidhya of Sri Rayaru and the written sketch of rayaru.   Next day when the cloth washer was washing the clothes in Srirangapatna, he heard a sound which looked like “Omkara”, he was shocked and he turned the stone,  he was surprised to note that the back side of the stone had the abhayamudrita padmasanasta rayara photo.   Immediately he carried it to Mysore and from there Sri Mummadi Krishnarajaya Vodeyar also accompanied (who had a similar dream in the previous day) it to Nanjanagud.   There Sri Sujnanendra Thirtharu did the pratistapane of Rayara Stone, which is being worshipped even today.

Vrundavana of Sujnanendra Thirtharu –Sri Sujnanendra Thirtharu wished to have his vrundavana at Mantralaya.     But rayaru came in his dream and told him that his vrundavana must be at Nanjanagud and that he will have the same importance for his aradhana like that of rayaru.   Then he decided to stay in Nanjangud itself and have his vrundavana there itself.

Brief Sketch

Sri Raghavendrachaya was the son of Sri Ramacharya and purvashrama great grandson of Sri Dheerendra Thirtharu of Ritti & brother- in law of Sri Sujanendra thirtharu. He studied under the Sri Subhodendra thirtha & was a great scholar of that time. He married to Godhabai & had 4 children. He lived in Nanjanagud the place,gifted to Sri Sujanendra thirtharu by Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja wodeyar king of Mysore.

Sansyasa Sweekara

Sri Sujanendra Thirtharu gave sanyasa ashrama to Sri Raghavendracharya & named him as Sri Sugnanendra thirtha. After Sri Sujanendra Thirtharu Sri Sugnanendra thirtharu became successor of Sri Madwacharya mahasamstana. He acquired siddi through japa & tapa anustana, he used to show an unusual brilliance whenever he was seen after he performed Pranavajapa and Ahneeka. He was also a brilliant scholar & performed Srimannyayasudha mangala 9 times. He also used to teach the students & prepare them as scholars.

Sri Sugnanendra thirtharu continued to stay in Nanjanagud to stabilise the administration, which was newly formed head quarter of Sri Madwhacharya Mahasamstana. He undertook a brief sanchara  got back Kireetigiri, Moraba, Somanahalli and other villages which had missed possession for various geo political reasons. The Mutt also got back the lands in the villages of Amarapura and Shettihalli. During this period the documents pertaining to the assets of the Mutt were done through the British Govt officials.

In one such instance, the then Purvashrama son Sri Rajgopalacharya keeping in view the interest of Mutt got a British officer to visit Shrigalu in relation to assistance of Mutt’s administration. Swamiji categorically declined to meet the officer and was also not interested to get any assistance from him. Rajgopalacharya urged again to Swamiji to meet the officer, when the officer came to meet the Swamiji, he could see only the empty plank, but not the Swamiji & they can listen to his words. This aroused a great devotion to British officer towards the Swamiji. Everyone around the Swamiji was astonished to see the ascetic powers of the Swamiji.

A Dobhi in Srirangapattana had a dream in which Sri Raghavendra thirtharu informed him that the stone on which he is washing the clothes on river bank had his Sannidhana. But, the dhobi could not understand this message & continue to wash the clothes on the same stone. One day while he was washing the clothes he heard a sound “OM” and out of curiosity he turned the stone to see a beautiful sketch of Sri Rayaru sitting in Padmasana posture with the abhaya mudra. Dhobi immediately took the stone to a Brahmin who also had the dream to take that stone to Sri Sugnanendra Theertharu who was at Nanjanagud. Previous night Sri Sugnanendra thirtharu & the king Sri Mummadi Krishnaraja wodeyar of mysore also got similar instructions in dream from Sri Rayaru that a person will bring his prateeka & to respectfully install that in the mutt.  King rushed to Nanjanagud along with a team of scholars & met Sri Sugnanendra Thirtharu. Both welcomed Sri Raghavendra Thirthara prateeka with great devotion. Swamiji then installed the prateeka at Nanjanagud Mutt in the presence of Sri Krishnarajendra Wodeyar. This Prateeka of Rayaru is being worshipped till date in Nanjanagud mutt. This place has  privilege of having the only Prateeka Murthi & sannidana of Sri Rayaru.

Brindavana Pravesha :

During his last days Shrigalu came to Mantralaya, & wanted to attain the Brindavana at Mantralayam. After worshipping Sri Rayaru for few days, he had a dream where in Sri Rayaru instructed him to return to Nanjangud and inturn he would be blessed to have his aradhana fall on the concluding day of Sri Rayaru’s Aradhana. As per the dream, Shrigalu returned to Nanjanagud and after few days he attained Hari Paada on Shravana Krishna, Chaturthi in Durmathi naama Samvatsara. The Uttara Aradhana of Rayaru coincides with the poorvaradhana of Sri Sugnanendra Theertharu. .

Being a great scholar, Shrigalu has written a grantha called Chandrika Mandana and a stotra called SriRamapanchakam..

Raghavendracharya, the pUrvAshrama son of the great grandson of dhIrEndra tIrtharu and pUrvAdshrama brother-in-law of sujanEndra tIrtha was a great scholar. He was very pious and austere. Raghavendracharya who received sanyAsa from sujanEndra tIrtha as per the orders of his mother was named sujnAnEndra tIrtharu. He spent most of his time at NanjangUD during his reign of twenty five years except for his tour for a brief period. During his tour, he got back Kireetigiri, Moraba, Somanahalli and other villages whose possession the maTa had lost, and lands in the villages of Amarapura, Shettihalli and others.

One more example of his tapas Shakti is as follows. As the British rule had already become entrenched, it was during his time the documents pertaining to all the assets of the maTa were done. The swamiji was a great ascetic. He exuded unusual brilliance whenever he was seen after he had performed praNava japa and ahnIka. In connection with a certain village, the maTa needed the help of the Deputy Commissioner of Mysore. He was a Briton. Thinking that if he could see to it that the official met the swamiji, it would facilitate the maTa to have an easy passage of its requirements, the Sreepada putra, Raja Rajagopalacharya, placed his views before the swamiji. The swamiji replied that, “Shastras forbid even seeing a foreigner. I do not wish to give him an interview”. Raja Rajagopalacharya urged the swamiji to clear the way for meeting, keeping the interest of the MaTa in view. He brought that official to the MaTa. But the official could see only an empty plank but not the swamiji. All the pains Rajagopalacharya took were of no avail. This not only aroused in the official, devotion for the swamiji but even the Sreepadaputra was astounded and frightened by the bewildering ascetic powers of the swamiji. This demonstrated how brilliant the charisma of the swamiji was.

Once Rayaru came in a dream of a dhobi (cloth washer) and told him that the stone on which he was washing the clothes had his sAnidhya and the written sketch of rAyaru. Next day when the cloth washer was washing the clothes in Srirangapatna, he heard a sound which sounded like “Omkara”. He was shocked and when he turned the stone, he was surprised to note that the back side of the stone had the abhayamudrita padmasanasta rAyara sketch. He was told in his dream to take this to nanjangUD and hand over to shri sujnAnEndra tIrtharu. Sri Mummadi Krishnarajaya Vodeyar, the king of Mysore at that time, also had a similar dream saying that he needs to meet shri sujnAnEndra tIrtharu for the pratishTApane of rAyaru. Both travel to NanjangUD and narrate the dreams to swAmIji. shri sujnAnEndra tIrtharu also had a similar dream that he would be presented with a stone pratime of rAyaru.

He did the pratishTApane of shri rAyaru, which is being worshipped even today.

Being in the pITa for twenty five years, the swamIji wished to spend the last days of his life in Mantralaya and went there. After he had spent some days there worshipping Sri Gururaja, he had a dream where Gururaja ordained him to return to Nanjangud and said that he would be so blessed as to have his Aradhana fall on the day next to the concluding day of Sri Raghavendra swamiji’s Aradhana instead of having his Brindavan at Mantralaya as desired by him. As ordained by Gururaja, the swamiji returned to Nanjangud. After a few days of his arrival at Nanjangud, the swamiji reached the heavenly abode on the fourth day of Shravana Bahula in Durmathi Samvatsara. As the Uttara Aradhana of Sri Gururaja coincides with the Poorva Aradhana of sujnAnEndra tIrtha, the devotees could understand the import of what Sri Gururaja had ordained. Swamiji’s scholarship was extraordinary. Besides rendering discourse on Nyayasudha nine times conclusively, he has become celebrated by writing the book ‘Chandrikamandana’.

ಮಹಾನ್ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಧೀರೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರ ಪೂರ್ವಾಶ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಪೌತ್ರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರು ಸಕಲ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ  ತಲಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.  ಇವರೇ ಮುಂದೇ  ಸನ್ಯಾಸ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರೆಂದು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತರಾದರು. ಇವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಿಟೀಷರ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಿದ್ದು, ಮಠದ ಹಲವಾರು ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳು   ಕೈತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಯತ್ನಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕಾಗದ ಪತ್ರ ಸಿದ್ಧ ಪಡಿಸಿ ಕಳಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಒಂದು ದಿನ  ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಲು ಸೂಚನೆ  ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆಗ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಮ್ಲೇಚ್ಛರನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿದ ಆ ಬ್ರಿಟಿಷ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ, ತಾನೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಬಂದು ಮಠದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂಧಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ  ಆ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ   ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಒಡೆಯರಾದ ಮುಮ್ಮಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರೂ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮಠದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮ್ಲೇಚ್ಛ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಸುದ್ಧಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆಗಲೂ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಮ್ಲೇಚ್ಛರನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಾಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮಠದಿಂದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಉತ್ತರ ಬರದೇ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಮೌನಂ ಸಮ್ಮತಿ ಲಕ್ಷಣಂ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ರಾಜರು ಆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆಗ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತುಳಸಿ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಜಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಪಾರಾಯಣ ನಡೆದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರ ದರ್ಶನವಾಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇವರ ಜೊತೆ ಬಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಮ್ಲೇಚ್ಛರಲ್ಲದ ಇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂಧಿಗಳಿಗೂ, ಮಠದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂಧಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಗೋಚರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಾಣದಿರುವುದು ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು  ತಪಃ ಶಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ.

ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಪ್ರಣವೋಪಾಸಕರು‌. ನಿರಂತರ  ಪ್ರಣವದ ಜಪವನ್ನೇ  ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. 

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಜಪದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕೂತ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಶಬ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದರ ಶಬ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ವಿಚಲಿತರಾದಂತೆ ಆದ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಕಣ್ತೆರದು ಅದರ ಕಡೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದಾಗ ತಮ್ಮ ತಪಃ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ  ಅದು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸತ್ತು ಬೀಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ರಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಜೀವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ  ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ,  ತಾವು ಜಪ ಮಾಡಿ ಅರ್ಘ್ಯ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಜಲವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಲು  ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಪ್ರೋಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ   ಅದು ಬದುಕಿ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಅವರ ಜಪದ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಪಃ ಶಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ. 

ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದು, ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಭಸ್ಮವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.ತನ್ನಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾವಾಯಿತಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು  ಬಹಳ ನೊಂದ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯೋಚಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಆ ಜೀವ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಜನ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಫಲ ಅದು. ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದಲೇ ಆ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ  ಶಾಪದ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದಿತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಹಾಗೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ವಿಚಲಿತರಾಗದೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿ ಎಂದು ರಾಯರೇ ಸೂಚನೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಯರಲ್ಲಿ  ಅತ್ಯಂತ  ಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಯರ ಕರುಣೆ ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. 

ಆ ಊರಿನ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಗಸನಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಬಂಡೆಯಮೇಲೆ  ತಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನವಿದೆಯಂದೂ, ಅದನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬಾರದೆಂದು  ರಾಯರು  ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆತಗೆ ಅದು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗದೇ ಮರುದಿನ ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯಲು ಹೋದಾಗ, ಆ ಬಂಡೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಣವ ಮಂತ್ರ ಕೇಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದೇನಿದು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಕೆಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಯರ ಚಿತ್ರ ಒಡಮೂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಂತೋಷಗೊಂಡ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ರಾಜನಾದ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವರಿಗೂ ಹಿಂದಿನ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅಗಸನಿಗೆ ಆದಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ವಪ್ನವಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚನೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಅಗಸನಿಂದ ಒಡಗೂಡಿ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ರಾಯರ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ,ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪರಮಾನುಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ನೆನೆದು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ರಾಯರ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.  ಆ ಅಗಸನಿಗೂ ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ರಾಯರಿಂದ ನೀನೂ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿತನಾದ ಪುಣ್ಯವಂತ  ಎಂದು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. 

ಸದಾ ರಾಯರನ್ನೇ ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ರಾಯರ ಮೂಲ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನವಾದ ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಬೃಂದಾವನಸ್ಥರಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಯಸಿದಾಗ, ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನ ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಆ ನದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪಿಸಿದ ಶಿಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆ ಸದಾ ಇದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು  ಅನಿಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನೀವು ನಂಜನಗೂಡು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ರಾಯರೇ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದು ನಿರಂತರ, ಜಪ, ಪಾಠ ಪ್ರವಚನ, ಪೂಜೆ,ತತ್ವ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತದ ಜೊತೆ  ಬಂದ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನೂ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. 

 ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ಯಾಯಸುಧೆಯ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಆಗಿನ ಕಾಲದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಟೀಕಾ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ  ಅನೇಕ ಸಲ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಂಗಳ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಅವರ ಚರಮ ಶ್ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೇ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಸುಧಾಸಾರಾರ್ಥ ತತ್ವಜ್ಞಂ ಸುಧೆಯ ಸಾರಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು  ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು. 

ಹೀಗೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಇಡೀ ಜೀವನವನ್ನೇ ರಾಯರ, ಜಯತೀರ್ಥರ, ಶ್ರೀಮದಾಚಾರ್ಯರ,ತಮ್ಮ ಉಪಾಸ್ಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಕರಾರ್ಚಿತ ಚತುರ್ಯುಗ ಮೂರ್ತಿ  ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ಮೂಲರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ದೇವರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಮುಡಿಪಾಗಿಟ್ಟು,  ಬಂದ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ  ಆಗಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಬೃಂದಾವನದಿಂದ  ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಾ  ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 

ಇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ರಾಯರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಎಷ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದರೆ, ರಾಯರು ತಮಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯವೂ ನಡೆಯುವ  ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸೇವೆಗಳೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಭಕ್ತರಾದ ವಾದೀಂದ್ರರಿಗೂ ನಡೆಯಲೇ ಬೇಕು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆ ಸೇವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನೂ ಕೂಡ ಅವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬ ಭಕ್ತರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡ ತಮ್ಮ  ಆರಾಧನೆಯ ಪರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ತಮಗೆ  ನಡೆಯುವ ಸಕಲ ವೈಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಇವರಿಗೂ ಕರುಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

 ಜೊತೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂರುದಿನಗಳ ಆರಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಭಕ್ತರಾದ  ಶ್ರೀಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರ ಆರಾಧನೆಯೂ ಮಾಡಲೇಬೇಕೆಂದು, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ರಾಯರ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಫಲ ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಸಿಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು  ಹಿರಿಯರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ. 

ಇಂತಹ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಲೆಂದು ಅವರ ಅಂತರ್ಯಾಮಿಯಾದ ರಾಯರ, ವಾಯುದೇವರ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ಮೂಲರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸೋಣ....

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರು ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಂದಾವನಸ್ಥರಾಗಲು ಬಯಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ರಾಯರು                
 ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು " ನೀವು ಮಂತ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದು ಬೇಡ ನಾನೇ ನೀವು ಇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಹಾಗು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ನನ್ನದೊಂದು ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಅದನ್ನು ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು" ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.  ಅದೇ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರರು ಶ್ರೀರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಒಬ್ಬ  ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾವೇರಿ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ತೊಳೆಯುವವನಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರಿಗೆ  ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. 
ಶ್ರೀ ರಂಗಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಕಾವೇರಿ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಒಗೆಯುವಾಗ ಇದ್ದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಹಾಗೆ ಓಂ ಎಂಬ ಶಬ್ದವು ಬರಲು ಶುರುವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಏನು ತಿಳಿಯದ ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ.

 ಇಂತಹ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ರಾಯರು ಅವನ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಇರುವುದಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ವ್ಯಕಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ನಂತರದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ರಾಯರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಇರುವುದು ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಿತು. ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ರಾಯರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ   ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದನು ಮತ್ತುಅವನು  ಶ್ರೀ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ತೀರ್ಥರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸಿದನು. 

ಇದೆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಯರು ಆಗಿನ ಕಾಲದ ಮೈಸೂರು ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ರಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಮ್ಮಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣ  ರಾಜಾ ವಡೆಯರ್ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರು ರಾಯರ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಮುಮ್ಮಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ರಾಜಾ ವಡೆಯರ್ ಸಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಮಠವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯ ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಕರುಣೆ ಪಡೆದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರು ಮಹಾನ್ ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳು, ಹಾಗಂತಾನೇ  ಗುರು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮುಗಿದ ಮಾರನೇ ದಿನವೇ ಇವರು ಬೃಂದಾವನಸ್ತರಾಗುತಾರೆ....

ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ ಪೂರ್ವಾಶ್ರಮ ವಂಶ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸರ್ವಜ್ಞರ ವಂಶ ಹೀಗೆ ಎರಡು ವಂಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ " ಉಭಯ ವಂಶಾಬ್ಧಿ ಚಂದ್ರಮ " ರೆಂದು ವಿಖ್ಯಾತರಾದ; ಮಹಾ ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳೂ; ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅನನ್ಯ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿ - ಮಹಿಮೆ ಬೀರಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಗಳಿಸಿದವರು " ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದಂಗಳವರು ".

ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ನ್ಯಾಯಸುಧಾ - ಶ್ರೀ ಪರಿಮಳಾ - ಚಂದ್ರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ - ನ್ಯಾಯಾಮೃತಾsಮೋದ  - ತರ್ಕ ತಾಂಡವ - ಸದ್ಯುಕ್ತಿರತ್ನಾಕರ ಹೀಗೆ ದ್ವೈತ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಗ್ರಂಥಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ 19 ಸಲ ಪಾಠ ಹೇಳಿ ಮಂಗಳ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅರ್ವಾಚೀನ ಪರವಾದಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ಶ್ರೀ ವ್ಯಾಸರಾಜ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರ " ಚಂದ್ರಿಕಾ "  ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸಿ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಬರೆದಾಗ, ಆ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಶತಶಃ ಖಂಡಿಸಿ " ಚಂದ್ರಿಕಾ ಭೂಷಣಮ್ " ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥವನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ದ್ವೈತ ವಿಜಯ ದುಂದುಭಿಯನ್ನು ಮೊಳಗಿಸಿ ಸರ್ವ ವಿದ್ವತ್ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಿಂದ ಸ್ತುತ್ಯರಾದರು.

" ತಪೋನಿಧಿ "

ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದಂಗಳವರು ಪೂರ್ವಾಶ್ರಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಜಪತಪೋನುಷ್ಠಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಪೀಠಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರ ತಪಸ್ಸು ವಿಶೇಷಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು. 

ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದರು ಮಹಾ ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರಿಗೆ ಅಷ್ಟ ಮಹಾಮಂತ್ರಗಳೂ; ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅಷ್ಟಾಕ್ಷರ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸಿದ್ದವು. 

ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರ ತಪಃಶಕ್ತಿ - ಯೋಗ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ಬಗೆ ಬಹಳಾ ಸ್ವಾರಸ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಒಂದುದಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನ ಶ್ರೀಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳೂ ಮ್ಯಾಟ್ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅಷ್ಟಾಕ್ಷರ ಮಂತ್ರ ಜಪವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆದಾಗ ಅವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಧರ್ಮ - ಕರ್ಮ ಸಂಯೋಗದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿತು. 

ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ! ಆ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಆ ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿಯು ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿದು ಭಸ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಹೋಯಿತು.

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದವರು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಮಹಾ ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳೆಂದು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು. 

ಒಂದು ಗುಬ್ಬಿಯು ತಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಮೃತವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ದುಃಖಿಸಿದರು. 

ಅಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರು ಭಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸದೇ ಹೀಗಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಾ ಮಗ್ನರಾದರು.

ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿ ವಾಯು ಗುರುರಾಜರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದರು. 

ಅಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಜರು ದರ್ಶನವಿತ್ತು...

" ವತ್ಸಾ! ಚಿಂತಿಸಬೇಡ. 

ನೀನು ಓರ್ವ ಸುಜೀವಿಗೆ ಸದ್ಗತಿಯಾಗಲು ಕಾರಣನಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯಾ! 

ಈಗ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯೋಗ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ ಜೀವನೊಬ್ಬನು ಸರ್ಪ ಜನ್ಮ ತಾಳಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸದ್ಗತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸೇವಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮುಂದೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ( ಪರಮಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀಪಾದಂಗಳವರು ) ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸದ್ಗತಿ ಆಗುವುದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆವು. 

ಇಂದು ಅದು ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಘಟಿಸಿತು. 

ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸದ್ಗತಿ ಆಗುವುದು. 

ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ತಪಃಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. 

ಇನ್ನುಮುಂದೆ ನೀನು ತೆರೆಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹ್ನೀಕವನ್ನು ಜರುಗಿಸು "

ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. 

ಮರುದಿನದಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು ಜಪ - ತಪ - ಆಹ್ನೀಕವನ್ನು ತೆರೆಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡ ಹತ್ತಿದರು. 

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಯೋಗ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಯು ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಯರ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆಗಿದೆ ಎಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ವ್ಯಾಪಕವೆಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ!

" ಭಕ್ತಿನಿಧಿ "

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು ಮಂತ್ರಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಿಗ್ವಿಜಯ ಮಾಡಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರಾಗಿ ತಮಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 

ಒಂದುದಿನ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು...

ನೀನು ನಂಜನಗೂಡಲ್ಲಿ ಬೃಂದಾವನಸ್ಥನಾಗುವುದು ಶ್ರೀ ಹರಿಯ ಚಿತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. 

ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಸೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇರೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. 

ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದ್ದೇವೆ. 

ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಆರಾಧನೆಯ ಒಂದುದಿನ ನಿನಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅದೃಶ್ಯರಾದರು!

ಅದರಂತೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ಶಿಲಾ ಫಲಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಭವರಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರಿಂದಲೇ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವರವಿತ್ತಂತೆ ಆರಾಧನೆಯ ಒಂದು ದಿನವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರಿಗೆ ದಯ ಪಾಲಿಸಿದರು.

" ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರನ್ನು ಕರೆ ತಂದವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು. ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರಿಗೂ - ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿಗೂ ಸುಮಾರು 160 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿದೆ. ಅಂದರೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರು ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿಗೆ ದಿಗ್ವಿಜಯ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ".

ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರ ಉತ್ತರಾರಾಧನಾ ದಿನವೇ ಬೃಂದಾವನಸ್ಥರಾದುದರಿಂದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುರಾಜರ ಉತ್ತರಾರಾಧನೆಯಂದೇ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಆಯಿತು. 

ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಮಠದಲ್ಲೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಜ್ಞಾನೇಂದ್ರತೀರ್ಥರ ಆರಾಧನೆಯು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ವೈಭವದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಶಿಲಾ ಫಲಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನ ನೀಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅದ್ಯಪಿ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಬಹುದು!!
