info from sripadarajamutt org---> Sri Sankarshana Theertha popularized the writings and preaching of acharya. He too stayed in North India and helped the kings. He made Srinagar as the base of his activites in order to restrain the influence of Yavanas in Kashmir.

He stayed in Srinagar for more than 20 years preaching the teachings of Sri Madananda Theertha. In that period, he invited many scholars from all over India and conducted many discussions, seminars on various religious matters.

He selected one of the scholars and made him his heir. He christened the scholar as Sri Parashurama Theertha in 1354 and entered the Brindavan in the same year in Srinagar.
