Adamaru Matha will adorn the title of Paryaya Matha from 18 January 2020 until 18th January 2022. Festivities have already started in Udupi as the Paryaya Matha Swamiji would have completed their Bharatha yatre which they undertake to spread the greatness and doctrines of Acharya Madhwa, visit several punya kshetras and also there by renewing the invites to all devotees to come and witness the grandeur of Sri Krishna Pooja at Udupi and rejoice with bhakti to the lord.
Acharya Madhwa gave sanyasa deekshe to Sri Narahari Theertha (Sri Narasimha Theerta) and appointed him as his first disciple to govern Sri Adamaru Matha. Adamaru is a small village around 20KMs south of Udupi near to Padubidri, its a quiet and picturesque village where the moola matha is located and hence its name as Adamaru Matha. The lineage of this matha is hence called Narahari/Narasimha Theertha parampare.
Acharya Madhwa worshiped a very beautiful moorthi of Chaturbhuja Kalinga Mardhana Sri Krishna devaru along with 2 of his consorts in Sri Rukmini Devi and Sri Satyabhama Devi and gave it as the pattada devaru to Sri Narahari/Narasimha theertharu. This moorthi will now occupy the rightmost place (rightmost to Sri Krishna) at Sri Krishna Matha. Its a practice that the pattada devaru of Paryaya Matha will always be placed right most to Sri Krishna (ie left most when we see the lord). The remaining Ashta matha pattada devarus are placed from here on towards the left of the Paryaya matha pattada devaru.
There are a few important aspects which are very symbolic about the transfer of Sri Krishna Pooja to the next Paryaya Matha, they are the handing over of the Akshaya Patre and Sattuga to the next Paryaya Matha Swamiji and then new Paryaya Swamiji ascending the Sarvajna Peetha on which Acharya Madhwa himself was sitting centuries ago. From here on all activities which take place in the Sri Krishna Matha are under the leadership of the new Paryaya Matha for the next two years. The Avasara Sanaka Sanandhi Pooje and Maha pooje for that day will be done by the new Paryaya Matha as the first sevas from the paryaya matha.

The reply he gave for that revealed another aspect of the subtelet of dharma. There is no temple for Vishnu here and not to accept the bhiksha in such a place is our vow. The people realised and prayed Acharya Madhwa to install a Vishnu temple and make a Vaisnava place. Acharya agreed and installed Lord Vishu statue with a temple while explosition of Shi Visnusahasranama become a premanent memorial. The temple is next to Mahalingeshvara temple and its priest is a pure Vaisnava and follower of Sri Admaru Matha.
Acharya Madhwa got Sarvamulagrantha's inscribed on copper plates and made arrangement so that they might not be destroyed in any manner near the Kattila, Sulya is a place near Pane, Mangalore. The inscribed on copper plates are buried in the pond called Vyasatirtha and there is mutt near place and therin is a idol of Sri Gopalakrishna. The place is under the control of Adamaru matha.
Acharya Madhwa decided to leave for Badri again to dedicate the work of Bhasyam to lotus feet of Lord Vedavyasa along with Sri Satyatirtha. Before leaving he appointed four balabrahmacaris under the name of
1-Sri Hrishikeshatirtha - Palimar matha
2-Sri Narashimatirtha - Adamaru matha
In 1259 AD year Siddarthisamvatsara, Acharya Madhwa defeated Sri Narasimhatirtha (Bhattacarya) and gave the ashrama and named him Narasimhatirtha

Jagadguru Sri Madhwacharya, who preached Tatvavada also installed Krishna idol in Udupi and appointed 8 saints to worship Sri Krishna on Co-operation basis (Paryaya). These saints continued their linage & became the moola purusha of 8 different mutts called Ashta mutts.
Sri Madhwacharya initiated Sri Narasimha Theertha to sanyasa to worship Sri Krishna & gave Kaleeyamardhana Krishna with four arms. Sri Narasimha Theertha continued his lineage & it is known as Adamaru mutt. Sri Narasimha Theertha is the first pontiff / moola purusha of this mutt.

ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಠದ ಪರ್ಯಾಯದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವ ಆದಾಯವೇ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ನಂತರದ ೧೪ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯಲು ಮೂಲಧನ. ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತರು ಬಂದು ನಡೆಸುವ ಸೇವೆ, ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳೇ ಈ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಕಾಲದ ಆದಾಯದ ಮೂಲ.
ಆದರೆ ಅದಮಾರು ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಚಕ್ರ ಸುರುವಾದದ್ದೇ ಕೊರೋನಾ ಚಕ್ರವಾತದಲ್ಲಿ . ಲಾಕ್ಡೌನ್ ಸರಮಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ . ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಊರವೂರ ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಲ್ಲ, ಸೇವೆ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಏನು ಆದಾಯವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.ಆದರೂ ಕೃಷ್ಣಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಂಪ್ರತಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ೧೪ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲೇಬೇಕು . ಆದರೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ಧೃತಿಗೆಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಸರ್ವಜ್ಞ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುಳ್ಳಿರಿಸಿ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಮಠದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸವಾಲಾಗಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಇದ್ದ ಬದ್ದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿ ಗುರುಗಳೇ ಹೊಗಳುವಷ್ಟು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು .ಅವರು ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಕೈಗೊಂಡ ಕೆಲವು ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳೂ ಅವರ ಮೊದಲ ಪರ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಅದ್ವಿತೀಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿವೆ .ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿಯವರ ಆತ್ಮನಿರ್ಭರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆ, ಸರಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ .
ನನಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯಾದ ಅವರ ಕೆಲವು ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳು ಇವು :

🔸 ಗೋಮಯದಿಂದ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯವಾಗಿ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ ಬಣ್ಣಗಳಿಂದ ಮಠದ ಗೋಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಣಲೇಪನ
🔺 ಪರವೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಾದ ಶಾಲು, ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳ ಬದಲು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ಕೈಮಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಯ್ದ ಶಾಲುಗಳು, ಅಡಿಕೆ ಹಾಳೆ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆಗಳು, ಅಲಂಕಾರಿಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು .
🔸ಮಠದ ಅಡುಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈದಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸಕ್ಕರೆಯ ಬದಲು ಗೋದಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು, ರಾಗಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಲ್ಲದ ಬಳಕೆ
🔺 ಕೃಷ್ಣಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಉರಿಸುವುದು ಶುದ್ಧ ಎಳ್ಳೆಣ್ಣೆ . ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಪದೆಣ್ಣೆಯ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುವುದು ಭತ್ತದ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನೆಣ್ಣೆ ಯಾನೆ ರೈಸ್ ಬ್ರಾನ್ ಆಯಿಲ್ .ಅದೂ ಸಹಾ ಆಂಧ್ರ ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಮೊದಲಾದ ನೆರೆರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ . ಅಂದರೆ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಣ ಹೋಗುವುದು ಬೇರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ . ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಶ್ರೀ ಗಳು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಂಜಸ . ಅವರು ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಎಳ್ಳನ್ನೇ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಠದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಎಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಗಾಣಿಗರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಎಣ್ಣೆ ತೆಗೆಸಿದರು . ಇದರಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧ ಎಳ್ಳಣ್ಣೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಮಠದ ಗೋಶಾಲೆಯ ದನಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಎಳ್ಹಿಂಡಿ ದೊರಕಿತು . ಪರಂಪರಾಗತ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗಾಣಿಗರಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮತ್ತು ಆದಾಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು . ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಯಿಸಿದ ಧನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಉಳಿಯಿತು . ಎಷ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಉಪಾಯ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ ?
🔹ಶ್ರೀ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾತ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸುಗಮ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶ್ವಪಥದ ರಚನೆ .ಇದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಫಲಿಮಾರು ಪರ್ಯಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾದ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಮಾಡಿನ ಮತ್ತು ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಶಿಲ್ಪ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ . ಮತ್ತು ಅಷ್ಟಮಠದ ಯತಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಪರ್ಯಾಯದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಸಚಿತ್ರ ವಿವರಣೆ ನೀಡುವ ಫಲಕಗಳು

🔸 ಇವೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಕಲಶಪ್ರಾಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಪರ್ಯಾಯದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ದಶಂಬರ್ ೫ ರಿಂದ ೨೬ ವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ " ವಿಶ್ವಾರ್ಪಣಂ " ಎಂಬ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ . ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತೀದಿನ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪುಟ್ಟ ಜನರಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಗಣ್ಯಾತಿಗಣ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ ಒಂದೊಂದು ದಿನ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ನ ಮಠಾಧೀಶರು, ಸಂತರನ್ನು ಆಮಂತ್ರಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಸಂದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಎರಡುವರ್ಷಗಳ ಪರ್ಯಾಯಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಕುಳಿತು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ .
ಅವರ ಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಶ್ವಪ್ರಿಯರು ವಿಶ್ವಾರ್ಪಣಂದ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಈಶಪ್ರಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯದಿಂದ ವಿಶ್ವಪ್ರಿಯರೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ . ಅಂತೂ ಅವರ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಸೇವೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸ್ತುತ್ಯರ್ಹ
